AI Everything Global 2025, held from February 4-6 across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, left an indelible mark on the global artificial intelligence landscape. Organized by the UAE’s leading innovation hubs and billed as “the world’s most impactful, visionary, and groundbreaking AI event,” this year’s gathering united trailblazers, policymakers, and tech pioneers under the banner of accelerating momentum through bold collaborations.
Tangaaza Energy participated in the event uniting the world’s AI ecosystem. Themed “Powering Global Collaborations in the New AI Economy,” this revolutionary gathering drew over 50,000 attendees—founders, investors, and tech leaders—to explore AI’s transformative potential. Organized by GITEX Global, AI Everything 2025 featured the AI Everything Summit in Abu Dhabi at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, followed by a massive showcase at Dubai Exhibition Centre. Highlights included keynote talks from luminaries like Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for AI, and hands-on demos of AI applications in energy, finance, healthcare, and beyond.
Kicking off on February 4 at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi, the AI Everything Summit set the tone with a high-profile convergence of world leaders tackling the biggest agendas in AI governance and policy. The following two days, February 5-6, shifted to the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City, where over 500 exhibitors—including big tech giants, startups, and research institutions—showcased the latest in AI innovation. This dual-city format underscored the UAE’s ambition to position itself as a global AI powerhouse, bridging strategic discourse with practical application.
The event drew thousands of attendees from over 100 countries, featuring more than 250 exclusive talks across five curated stages, 12 live coding workshops, and an investor program that sparked multimillion-dollar deals.
The exhibition floor buzzed with unveilings of cutting-edge technologies. A standout was a UAE-based startup’s debut of an AI-driven logistics platform that promises to cut supply chain emissions by 25%, drawing praise from sustainability advocates. Meanwhile, a consortium of international researchers introduced an open-source generative AI model rivaling proprietary systems, igniting debates about accessibility versus commercialization in the AI space.
On the policy front, the Abu Dhabi summit saw the announcement of a new Global AI Governance Framework, spearheaded by the UAE and supported by several nations. The framework aims to standardize ethical AI deployment, with a focus on privacy, transparency, and accountability.
The event’s startup pitch competition, dubbed “The Ultimate Stage for Groundbreaking AI Startups,” saw visionary entrepreneurs vie for global recognition. The winner—a Hong Kong-based team with an AI tool for real-time medical diagnostics—secured $5 million in funding from a panel of industry titans. Investors flocked to the dedicated program, with reports of over $200 million in commitments made during the two-day Dubai showcase, underscoring AI’s allure as the next frontier for venture capital.
Attendees also engaged in hands-on workshops, from coding neural networks to exploring AI’s role in smart cities.
While the event radiated optimism, it wasn’t without critique. Some delegates raised concerns about the digital divide, questioning how emerging economies could keep pace with AI’s rapid evolution. Others pointed to the ethical dilemmas of AI in military applications, a topic that sparked heated panel discussions. “Innovation is thrilling, but we mustn’t outrun our ability to regulate it,” warned a European policymaker during a keynote address.
As AI Everything Global 2025 concludes, its impact reverberates far beyond the UAE. Organizers have already teased an expanded 2026 edition, promising hybrid participation to democratize access. Partnerships forged between governments, tech giants, and startups are poised to yield projects that could transform healthcare, education, and climate action in the coming years.
For Tangaaza Energy, the event was a chance to forge connections with global partners and spotlight our role in the energy transition. From our base in Masdar City, we’re harnessing AI and IoT to optimize over 100 energy systems by 2026—a goal reinforced by the event’s focus on bold collaboration.
