The sun provides an unlimited, clean, and free energy source. Large arrays of PV panels are used to capture that energy and transform it into electricity for distribution.
Solar PV modules are interconnected to form arrays of varying sizes. Utility-scale project use upwards of hundreds to thousands of solar modules that are ground-mounted to generate electricity.
Feeding power to the grid
Solar PV systems include inverters that convert the Solar PV direct current (DC) power to alternating power needed on the grid allowing electricity power generated by the Solar plant to feed into the grid safely and efficiently.
